LYRA FOR TESLA · THE GUIDE
Connect once. Follow your music.
Set up while parked. Open lyranow.app in the normal front browser and follow the on-screen steps.
1 · Sign in with Tesla
The sign-in button opens Tesla’s official authentication page. Lyra does not receive your password or verification codes; it stores encrypted access credentials. Never send passwords or tokens to support or into a chat.
2 · Choose your vehicle
Select the vehicle you want to use. If it is missing, check the account and vehicle permission before retrying. Display language, time zone and driving side are suggested from your device and can be changed.
3 · Pair the virtual key
Follow the QR/link shown by Lyra and approve the virtual key in the Tesla app. Lyra uses it for signed Fleet Telemetry configuration. Lyra does not request vehicle-command or charging-command permissions and provides no unlock, start, climate or charging controls.
Location is optional
Location permission supports navigation and arrival information. Declining it disables navigation for that account, without blocking lyrics. Speed and gear support driving atmosphere without requiring geographic coordinates.
4 · Check the first track
Play music in the car, then check the title and artist in Lyra. Correct artwork is not proof of synchronized lyric coverage. If the recording is wrong, try Change version before adjusting lyric timing.
Stop sharing access
Review and revoke Lyra access in Tesla’s official account/app access controls when you no longer want it connected. Revoking access may stop synchronization on all linked screens. Do not share pairing codes or authorization links.
