Find the right words, then the right timing.
Missing playback data, the wrong recording and unavailable lyrics are different issues. Start with the track information, not the timing controls.
No current track
Confirm music is actually playing, then check the selected vehicle and connection status in Settings → Tesla. Waiting for music is not the same as finding no lyrics.
Wrong title or recording
Studio, live, remastered and remix versions can differ. Use Change version to review available lyric matches. Cover selection is separate; changing artwork alone does not fix lyric timing.
Right track, missing lyrics
Matching lyrics may not exist in the available sources. Instrumentals can use the artwork-focused immersive view. Album artwork or metadata availability does not guarantee lyric coverage.
Correct lyrics, wrong time
Use the lyric timing adjustment after confirming the recording. Word highlighting uses source timing; plain line lyrics are not converted into invented word timings.
Report a problem safely
Use the lyric correction/report control where available. If sharing a screenshot, remove names, locations, VINs, pairing codes and account information. Include only the track/version and a description of the display problem.
